Farmers stayed informed and protected as harvest season approached—gaining the latest crop insurance insights and USDA program updates needed to make smart decisions.

USDA Program Updates and Harvest Crop Insurance Reminders

As harvest approaches, crop insurance becomes one of the most important tools you have to protect your revenue and manage risk.

With market volatility, changing USDA programs, and evolving farm bill discussions, this session provided timely guidance to ensure coverage and program decisions worked for producers—not against them.

In this webinar, we covered:

  • Recent updates around the OBBB and “Skinny Farm Bill”—and what they could mean for crop insurance strategy and FSA program elections

  • How to qualify for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Special Disaster Relief Program (SDRP)

  • Key harvest-time reminders, including how Revenue Protection works in declining markets and how to determine Trigger Yields and Trigger Prices

Whether attendees were making final coverage decisions or simply wanting to stay ahead of policy changes, this session helped equip them to protect what they’ve worked hard to grow.
