Break Through the Operational Glass Ceiling
Farm Executive Leadership Training
As a core pillar of our membership program, our leadership and management coaching gives you the framework to step out of the daily grind and think like the CEO your farm needs you to be.
Success Doesn’t Always Come From Working Harder
Most operators eventually hit an invisible threshold where the operation’s growth is limited by their own personal capacity. You’re the first one in the field and the last one to leave, and yet the business still can’t seem to move forward without you in the middle of every decision. To scale successfully at this stage, you have to change your approach entirely.
UnCommon Farms helps you stop working in the business so you can start working on the business. By restructuring how you prioritize your time and building a team you can genuinely trust, you make the transition from the person doing the daily tasks to the “symphony conductor” of your operation, directing the whole, not playing every instrument.
Building Your Executive Skillset
Our coaching equips you with the tools to build a high-performing operation that doesn’t depend solely on your constant presence. To achieve this, we focus on three core areas:
Defining Success
Establishing clear, long-term objectives and the step-by-step action plans required to achieve them.
Time Prioritization
Restructuring your daily schedule so your energy goes toward high-level executive decision-making.
Effective Delegation
Empowering your team and defining clear roles and chains of authority so you can step back from the weeds with confidence.
Accountability and Execution Over Advice
You don’t need another consultant handing you a generic leadership binder and wishing you luck.
As a member, your dedicated coach serves as your accountability partner and thought partner, and those are two very different things from a traditional advisor. They won’t just tell you what to do and leave you to figure out how. They will challenge you to honestly assess how you’re spending your time, help you identify what actually needs to be done, and push you to determine who should be the one doing it.
We ensure the right people are having the right conversations so that your leadership goals move out of the notebook and onto the ground.
Are You the Bottleneck on Your Farm?
If your operation slows down every time you step away, the answer might already be clear. But knowing you’re the bottleneck and knowing what to do about it are two different things. Start by evaluating your operation’s management structure and identifying which daily habits are limiting your farm’s growth.

You Achieve More When You're Surrounded by the Right People
True executive leadership requires surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to be better, not just a coach in a one-on-one setting, but a community of operators who understand what you’re up against.
By engaging in this coaching through your business management membership, you also gain access to our high-performing peer network. You’ll sit in a room with top-tier operators from across North America, people who will openly share their best practices, talk through real management hurdles, and speak from direct experience about breaking through the exact same growth ceilings you’re facing right now.
This is not a networking happy hour. These are serious operators having serious conversations, and they’re the kind of conversations that change how you lead.
“UnCommon Farms has helped us understand and manage a scaling business that is sustainable into the future all the way to succession planning. Figuring out education pieces for our employees and our team. Areas of continuous improvement.”

Farm Leadership & Management FAQ
Is leadership & management coaching a standalone service or part of membership?
Leadership and management coaching is a core pillar of the business management membership. This is intentional. The coaching is most effective when your coach is working in concert with your financial, HR, and succession coaches, giving you a fully integrated team rather than a one-off engagement that ends when the binder is delivered.
What does a Business Coach actually do in a typical session?
No two sessions look exactly alike, but the work consistently centers on three things: reviewing where your time is actually going versus where it should be going, addressing the management challenges in front of you right now, and holding you accountable to the goals and action plans you’ve already committed to. Your coach is not there to give you more to-do’s. They’re there to make sure the right things get done.
I've tried consultants before and nothing changed. How is this different?
Most consulting relationships end at the recommendation. You get the strategy, and then you’re on your own to execute it. As a member, your coach stays embedded in your operation for the long haul. The accountability doesn’t stop when the call ends. It’s ongoing, and it’s built into how the membership works. If something isn’t getting done, your coach is going to ask why.
How long does it take to see results?
That depends heavily on where you’re starting from and what you’re trying to accomplish. Some members experience quick wins early like clarifying roles across their team or restructuring how they spend the first two hours of their day. Deeper shifts, like fully transitioning from operator to CEO, happen over months of consistent work. What we can say is that operators who engage seriously with the process see real, measurable change in how their operation runs.
Is this coaching relevant if I'm already a strong leader?
Absolutely, and often those are the members who get the most out of it. Strong operators who are already leading well tend to have a clear sense of where they want to go next. Your coach challenges you at the level you’re operating at, not below it. The peer network reinforces this: you’ll be in the room with operators who are equally sharp and equally motivated to keep pushing forward.
Start Leading Your Operation Like a CEO
The operators who build lasting legacies don’t wait until everything is perfect to start leading differently. They find the right people, commit to the process, and do the work. If you’re serious about stepping back from the daily grind and building something that outlasts you, membership starts with a conversation.
