Why You’ll Love This Role
As the AgVero Business Development Representative, you’ll:
· Identify and engage potential clients within the agricultural industry through cold calls, networking, email, and virtual events, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
· Understand client challenges through active listening and insightful questioning, tailoring the AgVero product suite to address their specific business needs.
· Sell the AgVero product suite, including Ag Catalytics (for cattle operations), Microsoft ERP (Business Central), AgriERP (for crop management), Ecodocs (for compliance tracking), and DocuScan (for document management) and new products as developed, aligning solutions with client needs.
· Coordinate product demos with prospects and internal teams, ensuring the right resources are in place to showcase product capabilities and demonstrate how AgVero solutions address client business needs.
· Guide prospects through the sales process, ensuring they are well-informed and pre-qualified.
· Close deals by overcoming objections, negotiating terms, and achieving sales targets.
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to implementation.
· Utilize HubSpot and other tools to track leads, document interactions, and report on sales activity.
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the tech or software sector, with a focus on solution-based sales.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, marketing, or a related field.
· Strong background in agriculture is ideal, with a solid understanding of agricultural operations, challenges, and technology needs.
· Proven ability to close deals and manage sales cycles effectively.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (HubSpot experience is a plus).
· This role requires up to 40% travel. The ideal candidate will be located near a regional airport and will be comfortable flying.
